Performing as a child in various youth organizations in her native Philadelphia, Valerie Ford started early, perfecting her voice and setting her goals for the future. Valerie started her own female group when still in her early teens and later joined a group named Philly Cream. The new group was signed to Atlantic Records and scored a Top Ten disco hit titled “Love Can’t Turn”.

Upon deciding to go solo, Valerie connected with veteran producer Tony Camillo and recorded the album, “Inspiration,” which is now made available for the first time. Valerie is currently on tour in Taiwan as a featured artist with Billy Paul.
